Product Introduction
1. Product Type Excavator seals can be divided into the following categories according to their use and installation location. Piston seals are used for hydraulic cylinder pistons to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side. Rod seals are installed on the hydraulic cylinder rod to prevent hydraulic oil leakage and contaminants from entering. Dust seals are located outside the hydraulic cylinder to prevent dust, dirt and other contaminants from entering the system. O-rings are used for static or dynamic sealing and are often used in connection parts. Rotary seals are used for rotating parts, such as shaft seals of hydraulic motors or pumps. Guide rings are used to support pistons or piston rods to reduce friction and wear.
2. Material properties The materials of seals need to have characteristics such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. Commonly used materials include: Nitrile rubber (NBR) has good oil resistance and is suitable for general hydraulic systems. Fluororubber (FKM) has excellent high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance and is suitable for harsh environments. Polyurethane (PU) has excellent wear resistance and is often used in high-pressure environments. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has a low friction coefficient and chemical corrosion resistance and is suitable for high-speed rotary seals. Silicone rubber (VMQ) has good high temperature resistance and is suitable for high temperature environments.
3. Application Scenarios Excavator seals are widely used in the following scenarios Hydraulic cylinder seals are used for hydraulic cylinders such as booms, dipper rods, and buckets of excavators. Hydraulic pump and motor seals are used to seal the rotating shafts of hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors. Pipeline connection seals are used for joints and connection parts of hydraulic pipelines. Dust protection is used on the outside of hydraulic cylinder rods to prevent dust and dirt from entering.
4. Maintenance and replacement Regular inspection Check whether the seals are worn, cracked, or aged. Clean environment When replacing seals, ensure that the working environment is clean to prevent contaminants from entering the system. Pay attention to the direction and position of the seals during installation to avoid distortion or damage.
